Sensory Seekers is a non-for-proft social group for home educating families who enjoy exploring the world through sensory play and shared experiences.
Our sessions are run by volunteers and offer relaxed opportunities for children to explore textures, sounds, movement, and creative activities in a supportive environment. The group is SEND-friendly and welcomes children who benefit from calm, flexible spaces to engage and connect.
Parents and carers can also meet other local families, share ideas, and build friendships within the home educating community.
Our sessions are designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and child-led. Activities may include:
• Sensory play trays and messy play
• Craft and creative activities
• Movement and music
• Calm sensory spaces
• Outdoor exploration when possible
• Free play and social time
Children are free to take part in as much or as little as they like.
Sensory Seekers is open to home educating families in the local area.
The group is SEND-friendly and suitable for children who enjoy hands-on, sensory activities. Siblings are welcome, and we aim to keep sessions relaxed and inclusive for all families.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times.
If you are a home educating family interested in joining us, we would love to hear from you.
